Assessment Course Rationale

The use of assessments including 360 surveys is common in business and with career development professionals such as executive and career coaches. Competencies in the area of assessment, 360 development, administration, and use can distinguish you as a provider of professional services.

I am offering a coaching telecourse I have created on the development and use of assessments and 360 methods. It is the same course that I teach in the graduate level executive coaching program at the University of Texas: Dallas. The telecourse is designed for anyone who wants to integrate assessments, including 360 surveys and interviews in their work and professional coaches OR professional counselors will get six (6) hours of CEU over a five week course that meets once per week, with a one week break in the middle (four 1.5 hr classes total). This course is usually considered a "resource development" course, though there is an emphasis on core competencies that is incorporated into the course as well as a practice building emphasis.

The breakdown of CCEU is as follows:

Core Competencies (CC) hours: 2 hours
Resource development (RD) hours: 4 hours
Total: 6 hours

In addition, the personal branding 360 that is used in this course can help anyone design a more authentic marketing strategy around any business they own and want to grow.

This course has been highly rated by participants in the past. I am currently teaching this course at the Executive Coaching program at the University of Texas at Dallas.

I have used 360's over the course of my professional coaching career. This has included designing and using different 360 instruments for target coaching niches. In addition I have used several other 360 instruments including several different standardized 360 instruments that I am certified to use. Finally I have used 360 interviewing techniques to supplement more formal 360 survey methods. There will be an emphasis on structured 360 interviews in the course as well, including proprietary materials to conduct a structured 360 interview process.

The cost of the 360 assessment course is $650 which includes the cost of William Aruda's Enterprise version of his Reach360 survey (approximately a $99 value).
