About the Retreat

A leader's capacity for quiet and achieving the long term goals for their organization are actually related. One key element of successful exit and succession planning is developing your organization to the point where it can run without you present. Every business leader and their organization is somewhere along the line of development to run without them. A quiet retreat is an opportunity to assess where you are in relation to your business running without you, test the business' capacity to run smoothly without you, and learn more about you and your business' strengths in this area. It is an opportunity to s t r e t c h yourself in this capacity. I encourage retreatants to set some goals in this area for when they are on retreat.

In addition, retreatants have time to "unplug" and really focus on key areas of their life, free from distraction and supported by other retreatants and powerful individual and group coaching experiences.

Each retreatant gets quiet time, and daily individual and group coaching, balanced with periods for reflection, rest and deep relaxation. Optional paired sharing and personal development classes will round out the experience. This creates the perfect opportunity to "clear one's head", re-examine priorities and values in your life, learn more about proven self care techniques, and chart a focused way forward in your personal and business life. Each person's retreat experience is individualized to their needs to bring maximum value to the retreat experience. The group has input regarding the level of interaction designed into the retreat.

The Gift of Time

The Gift of Time is one of the most precious gifts you can give yourself. Imagine having some undistracted, focused time to really think about your life. Time you can use to REALLY attend to one or more of the most important parts of your life. The following questions can guide a quiet retreat experience:

What needs the most attention in my life at this time?
What are the most important decisions I am making in my life?
What are the greatest challenges I am facing?
What am I planning in my life that would benefit from a concentrated, thoughtful focus?
Is there something in particular I want to learn about myself that I know would benefit my future?
What have I been too busy to think about recently?
What have I been putting off thinking about/considering?
What have I been avoiding or ignoring?
