AWARD WINNING TIPS
TO HELP YOUR CHILD
SPEED THROUGH HOMEWORK

· Help your child stay on task and make the most of homework time. Remove distractions such as TV, games, and people who might disturb.

· Suggest your child work on the most difficult assignment first, while he/she still feels fresh.

· Reward your child with a five-minute break and snack periodically.

· Keep necessary supplies on hand: pencils, pens, colored markers, poster board, paper, ruler, compass, and calculator.

· Obtain telephone numbers of other students in your child's class so your child can call if questions arise.
